México, D. F. from Villa Guadalupe

México, D. F. from Villa Guadalupe

The metropolis of Mexico City is sophisticated, down to earth, artful and all of the things one finds in a great city of the world. This view is from Villa Guadalupe, and provides a view of the two most recent architectural expressions of that temple. The shadows in the clouds here add an element of subtlety to an image of a city known more for its vibrance and gusto.

I have proofed prints of this image, and I definitely prefer the E-surface paper.I feel that it retains slightly more detail in the brickwork of the older cathedral.
