The Barn that Absalom Built, Under a Midwest Moon
The last time I saw my grandfather alive, I walked in his kitchen to find him reading Mother Jones magazine. That was just a few miles from the barn in this photo, which was built by his grandfather.
It makes me think of the Woody Guthrie song "This Land is Your Land" that we used to sing (a part of) in school.
